To bring the thread back to the subject of life vests, the U.S. Navy issues it's flight deck crew Mustang's USN MK-1 Flight Deck vests.

I do boat maintenance every year. I’ve never blown up my vest to check for leaks. I have changed C02 and the pill/bobbin and checked it for leaks then.  Better add that to the list. 

I tested mine out a couple of months ago when I fell off the boat; worked fine.

I have the previous model (2016).

The latest version seems to be a bit of an upgrade.

If I were replacing my current units,

the version linked above is what I would get.
