Yamamoto Hinge Minnow

Featured Replies

Anyone have a chance to fish these much yet, especially in the bigger sizes? They look pretty similar to the Sakamata shad which are hard to get a hold of so I'm thinking they could be a good substitute for the 7" size.

I have the 5 inch model and it seems to work fine. I have more minner baits than I need and personally I question how much difference there is between the sakamata and the 50 others out there.

Want to try some of these in Natural Shad.

If you want to try the hinge minnow, it’s more like the 6th sense Shindo shad. The Sakamata shad is not hinged. The closest I would think is the winged fluke.
