I have bought 2 Garcia, 1 Daiwa and 2 Pflueger reels so far this year.  Before that all I had was TD's and Shimano (still do) so my "impure" thoughts turned into pure sin I guess.  No regrets

Bow season is here for most of us...  

No bow hunting for me (although the season opens in a week).  I'll probably get my rifles out next week for a good clean and bench session.

My season starts in a month.

I should be going fishing this weekend instead but I'm headed north for some grouse hunting.  Dogs have to get started so they get "birdy" for the prime stuff in October and I need to warm up with my 20.  So....off to the hunting shack I go.  Ya'll have a good weekend.  It's very possible I am done fishing for this year.

Cured it today.  Handled a few Floogers, then picked up a few shiny Shimanos.  The urge is there no more.   ;D

I own a collection of 17 baitcasters and three of them are Pfluegers. The Trion is a great reel, the President and the Summit are ultra smooth... I will buy another Summit and President someday.

You can get them for $49 at Gander Mountain.  I don't know this for a fact, but I beleive the Gander "Giude Series Tournament" spinning reels are Pflueger President.

The chassis' are the same, but some of the internals (bearings) are not.

Whats the difference in the bearings?  There are the same number (10) of bearings, so are you saying they are cheaper quality or.....?  The price difference isn't much so if they are cheapening up the components thats a BAD idea.
