I will use it on my frog fishing, I just want input from you guys witch one you like better? I think they are about evan, maybe I would lean towards the Sufix. And what pound do you like?

65 lb sufix.i have also heard diawa braid is fantastic.it is an 8 strand braid where sufix is 6 and pp is 4.this makes it very smooth and castable.

i use 50lb power pro and love it. its extremely sensative, strong, zero strech, zero memory, and the strength-diameter ratio is good (50lb is only the diameter of 12 i think)

only downfall is the green coating that they manufacture puts on it. it wears off shortly and leaves a nasty green scum all over the front of the reel (from the spray when you cast) and the reel seet. if you dont make the same mistake i did and spray/wipe the reel down after each use then you will be fine. stupid me i let the gunk build up. wont be doing that again.

ive never used suffix but my friend had some and it didnt seem to have that coating over it. suffix is probably better, but i like powerpro and will continue using it till i have money to upgrade my line.

If memory serves, PowerPro is flatter, and Sufix is rounder.  To me, I want a round line on my reels, as it would lay better.

And having used both, I prefer Sufix.  Can't put my finger on it...perhaps it's the shape of the line I mentioned above, but I seem to be able to manage the Sufix better.

for Braid I like the Stren superbraid the best. Very smooth casting and not near as many backlashes. I've used Spiderwire before and I didn't seem to like it as well. It kind of helped a little too as I bought my braid last year on clearance at Wallyworld for around $4. Man I should have bought every spool in sight!

I don't like the feel of Power Pro it looks like dental floss to me. I don't have experience with it though maybe it is fine.

I've never tried Suffix either.

Tried both, both felt the same to me :)

I like Sufix over Power Pro, and Samurai Braid (Daiwa) over Sufix.

saltiga is supposed to be the same as samurai.it get's it's name from salt - iga and is supposedly made by diawa.

I don't use braid too much, but I found Stren Super Braid to be good stuff and it didn't lose its color.

Power Pro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Very manageable.  Doesn't matter what kind of braid you use as long as its not Fireline or Fireline XDS or Spiderwire.  As for the line color fading do what Kelly Jordan does and color it with a permanent marker.  I really don't care what the color is because most of the time I'm using braid in heavy cover where the fish probably don't even notice the line.

I'm also a Sufix over PP that I used for years, cant wait to put my hands on the Samurai
