hi guys i am going to buy 3 curado 100's or citica 100's to bass fish with this season and i want to know if the curado is worth 100 bucks more than the citica or if they are about the same and also will these small reels hold up

They both are fine reels, depending on your budget you will not go wrong with either....

I'd say since your buying three just but 2 citicas and 1 curado

Purchased three Curado 100's from Simmons Sporting Goods on Ebay for $149 each plus shipping of $12 total. Then there is a $50 rebate for each reel. Fished with them first time today and they are smooth.

I've fished with both reels and i would definitely go with the curado 100 over the citica. The curados feel much smoother and in my opinion sturdier than the citicas.

get the Curados

I have both and if you have the money get the Curado and if you are tight  on the funds go with the Citica's.

If you are buying the 100 size, I'd get the Citica.  That was the recommendation of a Shimano employee when I asked the same question you did.  He said if he was buying the 100's he would go with the Citica since there is VERY little difference, certainly not, in his opinion, worth the price difference.

I fish with both.  The curados are in my hand most of the time.  If budget is an issue you wont be unhappy with a citica.  If not buy the curado.

At delocustomtackleshack u could get the citicas for 70.00 each after shimano rebate. For that price u cant beat the citica ;D

i think you can get the rebate everywhere not just delos

Delos is throwing in an extra 20$  and then there is the shimano rebate.

I wish they made a lefty citica 100.  Would have gobbled them up from delos...

Citicas were made to fill in for the old curado after they redid them and bumped them up to $199. I think if you take care of them, the Citicas will save you some money for rods to put them on.

Delo's WAS offering an extra $20 off.  That offer ended at 11:59PM 12/31.
