You guys are gonna get me divorced. Think I am gonna have to put the citica on the GLX for now until I get someting else. Maybe a Curado or STX. I think the steez is gonna have to go on the Avid as I have been told its more for lightweight lure and I assume the GLX is too heavy for it

I'm not sure about the Steez and the MBR but all the rest were fairly easy to come buy IMOP. The $99 Avids Reeds had ( mentioned on this site) was shipped to your door. Citica's are on this site and e-bay regularly. Just need to watch the flee market and e-bay. Beginning of November seemed to be a hot time for E-bay. Might watch again shortly after the holiday after x-mas settles down.

Right their with ya. Currently looking into a new Loomis rod and another Quantum PT Baitcaster to go along with the new rod. Did I mention all the Lucky Craft Crank Baits that have found their way to my front door lately? And oh yeah, those darned Fish Finders with the new Color LCD screens, aren't those nice? Speaking of the boat, I need a new Anchor and some new docking lines while I'm at it. With all those new Crank Baits, gotta get me another Soft Tackle Storage System. And no, none of the previous are made up. I NEED ALL OF IT.

The new stuff, Stradic and Avids came from Dicks well before the sales. I go te Citica before the rebate that is going now so that was a good price at the time. All the used stuff came from the message boards like this one, and I think are all steals!!!!

Ok now I don't not like you.  I thought you got a brand new steez reel and mbr.  I was specifically looking at those.  The best deal I found for the holidays were the st. croix rods at this one site and a daiwa baitcaster (I think it was a fuego and/or millionaire) at Cabela's.  All were around 50% off.

well they are "like" new. Each only used a couple times from what I have been told. Steez should be here tomorrow and GLX next week. Now do you at least despise me

Where did you get all this stuff used?  Sounds like you made some good deels, especially the Loomis and the Steeze.  

I would give the Steeze a try on the loomis and see what it feels like.

Yeah..the monkey got me a new Curado 101 and two GLoomis Mosseybacks (BCR803, BSR802) just for xmas alone. I don't like thinking about the rest of 07 but it was heavy... :-X

im wondering how long its gonna be before someone actually makes this a legit psychological problem. it would be cool to have a support group to reach out to in my times of need. instead of a suicide hotline have a hotline you can call to get talked out of dumping a couple grand on fishing stuff.
