The Core's graphite paint does have metallic fleck in it, but it doesn't bling like that unless you hit it with a camera flash   8-)

looks like both 6:2:1 if you look at the drag star area. Those are nic looking reels. Are they worth the money over a Curado or MG7 or MG50??

I am looking forward to a detailed review of the Core. I have 3 rods I built on Lamiglas blanks and I love them. Let us know how they fish.
