ok mods, i'd like to let you know i dont intend for this to be a bait war or battle of the brands or anything, so i'd like for this to not be deleted...pweeze

what i would like to see is some friendly pics of any fish you have caught on any senko style bait. include a pic of the fishies, what bait and how you were using it, and measurements on the fish if possible!

lets see just how great senko style baits can be!

i'll start this one off...

16" pickerel on a 4" junebug yum dinger weightless and texas rigged.

18" pickerel same method.

I hate to be nosy, but what are you trying to accomplish here? Senkos are great fish catchers; so are dozens of other lures. To the best of my knowledge, Senko fish don't look that much different from crankbait fish or topwater fish. I've caught bass on Senkos ranging from 722", as well as other species.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish..... One to many Senko fish.

Doctor Suess I am not, but I catch way to many fish on Senkos to post a pic.

Why don't you go to the top of the board and read the Senko thread under the "Important Topics" section.  My young sir, you are kicking a dead horse.  Senko fishing has been discussed so much on this board that most any regular who sees the word Senko will simply ignore the thread, let alone take the time to post photos.  You have discovered nothing new and very few of us really care these days.  I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but I will offer congratulations on your catch.

LOL....poor kid.  :;)

Nice pictures....but I hate pike, pickerel or whatever you want to call them.  Around here we call 'em "gators".   Ain't good for nothing but fertilizer if you ask me.

Okay,

Let's see some pics!

That is a freakin' FAT pickerel - can't say I would be ticked off if I caught that slime dart.

I think some of you guys need to chill.

The kid just wants to see some pics of fish that were caught on a senko.

Don't like it......than don't post. No need to tell him that he is beating a dead horse. I post here everyday and I don't skip over these "Senko" threads.

The thing I like about the plastic stick baits is that anyone can fish them and catch some nice quality fish. Like my wife and son.

My sons fish.

Brents Trick Stick has been my #1 bait this year in many colors. I'll post some of those pictures later. I don't have them with me at work.

Keep catching those fish Dave. And remember no thread is a stupid thread. Keep it up with your nice pics.

Long Mike will be leading a sensitivity training class.

I understand there a few seats still available.

one suggestion dont hold bass like you are doing yours cocking them up to far by there jaw. hold them more vertical, i hate when people twist them up by only the lower jaw!

I agree. If your going to hold them horizantol like that than make sure your supporting the belly area with your other hand. Too much stress is being applied to there jaw area. Something I'm trying to teach my son more about.

This is excellent advice.  Don't you wish some of the stars of TV bass fishing did likewise?

that is a big pickerel!!!! im suprised it only weighs 5 pounds tho. MD state record is 7 pounds something ounces so imagine how big that would be!

nice pics davis

This was caught on a 6 inch watermellon blackflake Senko, bounced off of a stump in a cove with 6 foot deep water. This is as high as my son pictured here would hold him up for fear of the fish slapping him in the face. He learns from his experiences well. Same fish in the avitar.

Hey senko that looks like a hog dude.  The real question is who is bigger?  Your son or the fish?  Your lucky that thing didn't eat him for lunch!  ;)

Great catch for the tyke!

Figured i'd post the Provincial Record that came to be the Canadian Record Pickerel  (since everybody seems to love and respect them, LOL) caught on a 5" Trick Stick.

B

Two questions Brent.

1.   What's a pickerel?

2.  Where's Canada?

When you get tired of catching too many little fish, upsize to the 6" Senko.
