Favorite Swimbait reel?

Featured Replies

I got a new GLoomis SWBR for X-mas. It's a 7'6 rated up to 4 oz. I was kinda thinking either a Calcutta 200 or a Curado 300. thoughts?????

I tried a Calcutta 200 and it didn't do a very good job.  The 300 on the other hand was A LOT BETTER!  I think I should step it up to a 400 but I don't like the added weight of it so the 300 would be the best choice in my opinion.

Problem Solved! After much dileberation in BPS (had x-mas gift cards) I went with the Curado 300. I tried the Calcutta's but didn't fit in my hands as well and the Curado had plenty-o-capacity. I think it will also make a good Peacock reel when i get back there. Thanks guys!

BTW, what is a Diawa?  ;D

Congrats on ur purchase, hope u land a few hawgs w/ it.

Good choice. I have the Curado 300 paired with my loomis 955 and it has served me well.
