When it comes to plastics and jigs, buy the absolute best rod you can afford.

What's your budget?

AVC70MHF

The Avid is a great rod for the price and St.croix's service is excellent.

My E7 is paired with a Kistler Magnesium TS MgMWCRH70 which is a 7' H. It feels like a great combo but haven't had the chance to break it in as it was bought in Dec.

If you're on a budget or don't want to drop alot on a rod I would suggest the Mojo Bass rod...It seems to be a descent rod but haven't had any experience with it

160 for a GL2  :-? ----> somebody somewhere is trying to screw you.

Go with the Avid, they are very sensitive rods. The one RW recommended is a good pick.  8-)

Explain? is it too much?

Avid.

Look around, I just picked up a St.Croix AC60MHF on clearence for $109.00. I will match it with my Curado e7 I picked up this past fall. I know a 6'6" or 7' is the more popular size for worm/jig but I have always liked the shorter 6' rod myself. I will also pair a e7 with a AC62MXF for weightless plastics & traps. One of the best things about the e7 is that it is a burner but has the cranking power of a slower ratio reel.
