I don't have a go-to rig per say, but if I could catch bass any way I wanted to; I'd use my Lamiglas XMG50 (it's a medium) paired with a TDZ 105h.  Berkley Trielene 100% fluorocarbon in 10lb is the line, and a Lucky Craft Fat CB BDS 1 is the bait.  A moonsault cb100 is a close second for the crankbait I chose, but the bds1 generally gets better quality fish.

Dont play....I have seen your boat. You're not exactly fishing with a stick and thread....

My boat ? ...... there it is in all it 's glory, "LATINASESINA", 12 ft of pure mean aluminum powered by 6.5 ponies. That 's all I need to ride and catch me some fish. :D

That 's how it looked, now I added a couple of seats for more comfort and artificial turf to the benches and deck ( burned my butt a couple of times when sitting on the bare aluminum and it ain 't pretty )

3/16oz Karu Finesse Jig or Baby Boo Bug jig (black blue or green pumpin) w/baby paca craw trailer. For over a year this has been my year round constant. Only thing that changes is the presentation.

Simple choice for me. Since 50+% of my time is fishing smallies, I'd go with a one piece 7' medium fast action spinning rod with 1500 series Shimano Sahara. Load the reel with 8# test Trilene XL and tie on a 1/8 oz. jig head trailing a 3" curly tail.

This would also do for Senko fishing and topwaters for LM bass in a pinch.

6'6" MH Pflueger Rod

Pflueger President Reel

20 pound test flourocarbon

Weightless rigged Green Pumpkin Seed 5" Senko

Favorite rig:

Rod:  Custom made 7' Lamiglas CCB

Reel:  Quantum TourEdition PT 7:1 Baitcaster

Line:  14 lb Trilene Fluoro

Bait:  toss up, Rapala DT Fat Shad or Rattlin' Rapala baby bass

Go to rig - when nothing else is working:

Rod:  Custom made 5'6" Shikarii  (yes it's small but it casts accurately and the distance is pretty remarkable for a 5'6")

Reel:  Quantum Energy PT 6.3:1 Baitcaster

Line:  14 lb Trilene Fluoro

Bait:  1/4 oz (or weightless depending upon wind) T-rigged pumpkin senko

Rod: St. Croix Mojo bass 7' MH coming in next week ;D

Reel: Shimano Citica 201D

Bait: Strike King kevin vandam jig

Gets em every time :D:) :)
