no impact on any lure presentation. Yo-Zuri Hybrid can be used for

any fishing technique.

I've got a 4th soft plastic rod I couldn't decide what line to put on it for this season.  I haven't bee real happy with Flouro and then I started thinking about your posts on the Yozuri hybrid.  I've decided to go with that and am looking forward to experimenting with it this year.

There's no downside, BPS still has the 1/8 and 1/4 lb spools on

sale. If you don't like the line, throw it away or send it to me!

While I like Y/Z Hybrid I have to disagree with you here.

Anything really light, with a floating line, get a bow in the line between the weight, on the bottom, and the rod. Sinking lines will give you better contact between wieght and rod.

With that said, It seemed to me either the Y/Z was more willing to sink or cut through the water or something. Bait contact was much better vs regular mono.

The green matches up best in clear water,

the smoke in stained water, but the truth is,

I fish both. Green matches two of my rods

better, clear looks great on my pearl Chronarch

and smoke makes my other rigs look more

like weapons!

It doesn't make any difference to the fish.

I am buying 3 spools, 1 low vis clear, 1 camo green, and 1 smoke, all in 1/4 pound variety lol!

I purchased a regular spool of 15lb.  Didn't have any left in the clearance. Also got a 1/8 oz spool of clear, 20lb for my swimbait rod.   8-)

Of all the recommendations RW has ever made, the Yo-Zuri one was the best.  I use it exclusively on my baitcasters.  I even use it frog fishing.  I like it better than braid even in heavy cover.

That sounds promising.  I also ordered a few bulk spools from BPS to give it a shot.  I figured for the price, why not.  I'm looking forward to trying it out.

As much as I hate the bandwagon approach (shimano for instance)

I can honestly say this line is even more than it's cracked up to be.

I've nearly straitened Bagley shaky head jig head hooks with 8lb Y/Z Hybrid.

so i was thinking of getting some of the 20lb for saltwater spinning reels. is it too stiff a line to use at that test for spinning gear? also what color is best for salt? camo green, clear or smoke?

#20 is very stiff and wiry, but more importantly, you cannot

break it when you get hung-up. I don't think this would be a

good choice for any casting. Maybe trolling for stripers, salmon

or lake trout, but nothing involving cast and retrieve.
