Help! Justification Needed

Featured Replies

Alright guys, so I got a 6'9" parabolic carrot stix last week from a guy in my club who got a big discount on them. I fished with the rod and I absolutely love it. Its not nearly as sensitive as my loomis rods (which I really don't need it to be for cranks/jerkbaits) but its soooo light. Here's the dilemma, the guy still has a 6'6" medium that he hasn't sold yet and I really want it but I also really don't need it as I'm going to build another 6'6" IMX 782c in a month or two anyway. Is there anything that the carrot stix might do that the 782c won't. I really want to buy this rod and I'm looking for some justification for buying it. I really have no other reason other than I want it lol. I'm usually not the type of person that needs justification for buying fishing stuff but I need some reasons this time. They are just so light, and it looks cool, and the price is right, and its orange... So help a brother out, give me some reasons to buy it (lie if you half to ;D).

What you want justification for ?

You want it ? get it !

There 's your justification.

If I were to justify every item I 've purchased in the past 35 years then I would not have 0.5% of what I 've got.

If you really want it, you'll probably use it...  besides, one extra rod isn't going to help or hurt the illness!   :)

Buy it just as a whip to try and keep the "monkey" in line.

:)

Hey, it could work . . . . .

:-/

You won't know unless you try!!!!

Just go for it.

If you end up not using it or find that you really don't

need the rod, you can sell it on our Flea Market quickly if the

price is reight. We have plenty of Carrot Heads!

8-)

I usually find justification for buying anything...granted the last few times it has been..."Hey that's a good deal on that rod, can't pass it up.  Now I need a new reel can't have a rod without a reel."

That's how I ended up with a Castaway Big Show Flipping Stick and Curado 200e7 and now an '08 Energy PTi-A and a Damiki Dark Angel.

Correct me if I 'm wrong, that sounds like the BaitMonkey.  :-?

Darn ! I hate being right all the time.  :)

unless you're taking food outta your kids' mouths, there is no justification needed.

You NEVER HAVE ENOUGH RODS.

Buy it.

Enjoy its beauty.

Feel it.

Caress it.

Run the tips of your fingers over it.

Enjoy that rod!!!  ;D   ;D

The last time i bought new rods, it was also my justification for buying a new boat, LOL! Cant use the rods to there fullest without a boat right!?!
