tie yout line to a post and back off to the end of the spool.start reeling and spraying.let sit overnight.

When you spool a reel, pull the line through a cloth that has the line conditioner soaked on it.  After that, apply to the spool as needed.

As you respool, spray it on every 10 cranks.

What I like to do on a full spool the night before,is to spray on a good dose, give the spool a half turn, spray on another good dose and then wipe off excess.

This is what I do.   I also spray it on the filler spools if I'm not going to re-spool immediately.

the way i do it is i fill the spool about 1/4 of the way and then start running the line through a cloth sprayed with the conditioner. as i get towards the end i also spray the line on the spool every 15 revolutions or so. i also spray around the full spools the night before i go fishing. overkill? not sure.

When re spooling I spray it on the spool and line every 15 cranks of the handle and then I will let it sit overnight. Then before I fish I will spray it the night before.

Use to run the line through a cloth, but then I tried spraying in on the spool and line as spooling and it seems to me I get a much better very important first soaking of the line. Little messy but it cleans up nicely.

Later, ;)

Spray on all the time.  Spooling, overnight, even while fishing.  When bottle is empty, buy some more.  Kevin will personally thank you.

Wet spot on a wash cloth.

Run line through the wet spot as you are spooling it.

Spray line on spool as you wish while spooling if you wish.

Secret is to keep wet spot....wet!!!  ;D

This is basically it, be sure however to use a synthetic cloth like microfiber.  The formula bonds with cotton and you will go through a whole lot more product using a cotton cloth.  Also, do this a day or so before it hits water to ensure that it dries. Let me know if anybody has any questions.

Yes you can use it on braid, works great too.  Mono, flouro, braid, graph screens, sunglasses, keeps mold and mildew out of storage and rain gear, line guides, etc. etc.  ;D

Definetly run the line through a wet rag!! It removes the chalk and dirt that has accumulated on the line from manufacturing and storage. Some brands are worse than others. Stren and Berkley are terrible while Suffix and P-line are better but they still have chalk on them. All that dirt and grit can't be good for the life and strength of the line.

KVD LC is the BOMB! I like to buy it by the gallon then I lay the whole spool of my line in it for a couple days. It's also great for hair gel to create that 1940's and 50's grease look. It's also a great fuel additive, LCD cleaner, and I heave it even helps prevent the swine flu!!!

;)

Seriously though I love this ***t and about threw a parade at the roadtrip when I got a free bottle.
