Got both 10 lb. and 14 lb. Suffix Elite to choose from.  Spinnerbait will be 1/4 oz. baits and throwing in relatively heavy cover (cypress trees, etc.) and crankbaits are shallow running (1-3) ft.  What would you suggest?

I NEVER use anything under 14lb test! But around cover i use 17lb line.

14#. It floats a little more which will keep your crankbait close to the top.

I would use the 14#....  I use 17# Floro on my spinnerbait rig and 14# for cranks and lipless cranks.  

If you throwing around cover your gonna want the extra piece of mind if a hog gets you under/around some cover.

I now use yozuri hybrid 12lb for both. Awesome line. I baught kvd line and lure conditioner but havent found the need to use it yet.

I gave it a try because of your comments and reviews and i thank you alot. Great stuff

Between the 10 and 14lb I would go with the 14lb for both, however, if it were me I would probably use 17lb.

For shallow cranks and spinnerbaits in and around heavy cover i use 14 lb test unless i am using a lure that i cant feel the vibration of the lure on 14 then i drop down to 12.
