The Tierra is based on the TD Advantage.  Go with the Tierra.

Do I even need to answer?

Citica 200E

I have the Rick Clunn. Amazing reel for the money!

I also upgraded the the Johnny Morris Sig Series and love it even more. The drag on the JM is not very high but thats ok with me. That reel is awesome too!

I haven't had any experience with any of those actual reels but I have a Sol and Curado and am really looking at the Tierra as a possible addition.  I don't think any off the reels would be a disappointment.  My least favorite is probably the Rick Clunn.  Personally, I would go for a Pro Qualifier if I were getting a Bass Pro reel it's a little more but I think it's a good choice.  If you do any shopping on ebay I would look at the Pflueger Patriarchs, if you are at all interested in Pflueger, that's the one to get and that's where to get it.

I would go with the Citica.

Later, ;)

I have some of most of the above including the BPS reels and I'm very satisfied with them all.

ok ? on the tierra how good is the cast control/brakes and how well is the drag? i know the vbs on shimano is great and i believe i read the drag on the citica is rated at 9 lbs of tq.any idea what the tierra is?..as far as the other reels listed i already have a few pflueger summits (love them) and a few abu round reels and abu revo sx's,im just looking for a quality pick up and go setup so either the tierra or shimano citica and its going on a st.croix 7mh mojo.thanks

screw it today i decided i know i wont be happy with either choice. ill buy one then still want the other (like we all do at times i sure) so im just going to buy both the tierra and citica.but thanks you guys for your input.will the tierra be good for a crankin reel/rod combo? cause thats what itll probably go on with 12-15 lb floro, citica my topwater, jign rod with braid and floro leader.

Cabela's Prodigy Baitcaster is made by Daiwa and is basically the Tierra for less money.

If it were me I would go Shimano Citica, but Daiwa isn't bad either.
