-Shimano Stradic CI4 2500

-8lb P-Line Flouro-Clear

St. Croix Legend Tournament 6'8" MXF

Pflueger Supreme XT 9030

Use this for all weightless plastics as well as shakeyhead fishing. Crosses over very well for walleye jigging.

Casting: St. Croix Legend Tournament 7' M/F "Teaser" rod, Abu Garcia Revo STX, 12lb Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon.

Spinning: St Croix Avid 7' M/F, Diawa Sol 2500, 8lb Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon.

I'll use the spining rod w/ 4" Senkos and open hooks around light cover, the casting rod get used w/ 5" Senkos rigged on the weedless Falcon K-wacky hooks.

Steez 6.x ratio baitcasting reel and Steez MF rod.

Mojo (sigh) plastics 7' Revo STX

i fished with this combo for a few hours this after noon and its the first time i didnt think the rod was a mistake. its still tip heavy but with a heavier reel its evened things out.

4 medium action spinning rods 6'

3 medium heavy action spinning rods 6'6"

the spinning rods are BPS, and custom and the reels are 2000

and 2500 sized BPS, Daiwa, and Shimano

1 medium heavy action 6'6" H&H baitcasting rod with Chronarch

All have 30# superline of various brands

One of the main keys being the braid/fluoro leader or all fluoro for minimal stretch to really stay in touch with the lure.

XF is nice but if your fishing O rings and circle hooks then fast action is fine.

I have a 6'9" All Star Platinum, Wacky Worm special spinning rod. Medium/fast. I've got a Pflueger President 6740 mounted on it.

That is great! I use the exact same rig for Wacky. I run 8lb green P-line cxx premium and a 1/0 demon circle hook. :)
