Just wondering what reel covers you all use for low profile baitcasters and 2500 size spinning reels. I have a couple bass pro brand, but wondering what else is out there.

That's a great deal thanks for sharing! Are the baitcasting ones only for round reels or will it still fit the low profiles? I have a couple BPS brand but they can't be on the rod so it never gets used except probably this winter to store it.

The might fit smaller round reels but they are best on low profiles. They will fit on the reel while it's mounted on the rod.

Sorry, what I meant to say was: "Do you leave the metal ring on the cover or do you clip it off?" It would be facing the wrong way and would seem pointless on a LH reel. Just wondering.

You can just flip the cover inside out and it should fit as if it were made for it. Most covers have logos on both sides. At least my shimano one is made in that fashion

Why not? I have one and it fits fine with the reel mounted on the rod. You need to leave a little bit of slack in the line, put the cover in place, and take up the slack in the line.

If you have left hand retrieve reels DO NOT get the daiwa reel covers. They dont fit right. the shimano reel covers are ok but the material is thin. Try to look for some pro gear reel covers in the small size. I know they are for small conventional reels but they fit perfectly for my alphas ito to my cardiff 301 and also can fit my calcutta 401.

Thanks for the pointers here, I asked Santa for a few in my stocking.  What I did notice that the daiwa cover at TW seems to sitting on a Revo ;D
