should i get either the fenwick techna AVC70MF or the kistler magnesium MGAPSMH69  both rods are about a 100 dollars i think they retail for more

I would recommend the Techna AV as I have other AV's and love them. The 7'MF you mention is the rod I want but I've procrastinated and may miss out. They are gone at FFO, TW and Cabelas. Where can you still get one for the $100 dollar price?

I own both rods along with an Argon. I would take the Techna over the Mag any day. The Argon is in a different league.

I own both Techna's and Kistler rods.  Techna hands down.  The rod is lighter, more sensitive, and honestly I think it is the most undervalued and underappreciated rod made.  You will be very happy with it.
