I cast right and reel right.I do the old switcharoo.

Until I start missing fish because of the switch,I have no reason to use LH reels.

This might be weird, but I use a spinning reel with the handle on the left.  I can't stand a casting reel that is left handed.  :-? It just don't feel right.  :)

I'm an ambidextrous angler now. A few years ago I tore a ligament in my right elbow -my Doc's first case of 'bass elbow' he said. I had to go lefty, and it was tough going for a while >:). But I am now dangerous with both hands with spinning as well as casting tackle. 8-)

I'm dangerous with my left hand too.  If you stand on that side of me when I go to cast a baitcaster, I might whack you with the rod!! ;D :) :)

Me too. I can't even brush my teeth left handed. Every time I try, I end up shaking my head and holding the brush still! :)

I am right handed, but I prefer the leftie reels, mostly because I am used to spinning reels where it defaults to the left side and just got used to that after all these years.

x2. Right handed but reel lefty all the time.

I'm a righty but I use left handed baitcasters. None of that switching hand business.

So when you finish your cast do you just continue to hold the rod with your hand behind the reel??  I switch hands partly because I cast right handed, and partly because I like to grip the rod around the reel instead of behind it and this allows me to make my cast and then place the rod in my other hand the way I want it.

I have two fingers under the reel when I cast. If I want to move the third in front of the trigger on the rod, it is a natural movement as I engage the reel. Once you do it a few thousand times it happens without thinking about it. 8-)

Same here. I honestly gave the righty's a good try, but tring to work a biat with my non dominate left was a pretty funny sight to behold.. ;D
