what is your setup for a buzzbait?

Im thinking about the 6'10" medium fast crucial rod. What do you guys use? I use 1/4 to 3/8 mostly when buzzing.

7' medium action graphite Cranking rod with a moderate action.

Medium Power/ Fast Action with a soft tip.

Specifically: Avid AVC66MF/ Shimano Scorpion 1000.

It depends on what cover I am fishing. If I am in light cover I will fish it on a 6'9" M cranking Carrot Stick. If it is in heavy cover I go with a 7' MH Pro Qualifier rod. I also use a 6'9" MH Vendetta sometimes too.

An E7 mated with a 7H falcon bucoo.

The rod is PERFECT for the 3/8 secret weapon buzzers I throw.
