I need a new rod for plastics, but I only have 100 dollars to spend. Anyone have a suggestion?

st croix mojo, they have one specifically for soft plastics. its $100 exactly.

I'm not a big fan of the st. croix mojo. I like to have MH power and an extra fast tip for my plastics rod.

I just sold a 6'6" MH Avid for $100 shipped.

The Shimano Clarus is a nice rod, I have a Medium XF one for soft plastics

Save a few more bucks and wait.  The increase in quality once you hit the $150 mark is significant.  You don't want to skimp on your plastics rod.  Otherwise, watch the flea market.  You'll definitely find a deal there on some quality gear.

7' mh Okuma C3 - list price is around $150 but if you watch ebay you can find one for around $100.
