Was thinking of buying a vendetta paired with a revo. But the BPS pro qualifier looks just as good and half the price. the qualifier is 8.8oz and the revo is 8.89oz. So i dont think it would really make a difference, but i just came here to get some good input.

Spend $20 more and get the Carbonlite in my opinion.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with the PQ.  You might be pleasantly surprised.  Great reel for the money.

I have two 7-3 Vendettas with Revo SX's on them and love them.  That is definitely a good combo.

I would get the PQ. cheaper with more options.

I have that combo right now and I love it. PQs and Vendettas are great products, especially for the price.

The Revo is higher quality. Will last longer, better resale. You choose.

I have a few revos, and for the money. Get the Pro-Q. I don't plan to sell mine, they preform great. Durability, can't say much about that. I have had a couple of mine for 2 seasons now, and have had no trouble. Just clean and lube like other reels and I think they will be good for years. I have asked a couple reel service guys, and they say they well made reels except for the drag system. upgrade that with a carbontex and they say it's a fine set-up.

I have a Carbonlite spinning rod and I love it. It's pretty durable and sensitive.

I can't say much about the casting model because I haven't used one, but I don't think it's much different than the spinning rod.

Ive never fished with the carbonlite rods but have held them few times and i like them! Going to pick me a couple up soon!

Where are the $70 PQ's?  I saw $89.99 on line at BPS.

I have a 2010 Pro Qualifier 6.4:1 on a 7' M/F Carbonlite rod, and I love this setup.  I use mine for t-rigs, jigs up to 3/8 oz., stuff like that.  Very sensitive and light setup.

I am going to look at getting another Pro Qualifier in the lower gear ratio and possibly pair it up with the 7' Med/Mod Carbonlite for crankbaits.
