Lake Yojoa Honduras

Featured Replies

Pictures of Bass being sold along side the road in Lake Yojoa Honduras.

There are no regulations on their fishing, sorry to say, but there are plenty of fish in the lake. They're spawning now, and the come really close to the edge. Come down to Honduras!

Lake Yojoa was said to be a very good bass fishery in the 1970's-80's.

But it seems it has been overfished.

Nice lake anyway.

Those pictures are depressing.

x2 and those bass are real skinny. Looks like there is a shortage of food in the lake.

It is important to realize that bass are looked at in places like Honduras as just another way to eat.  They don't value them for their worth as a sport fish.

It is just a completely different culture I guess.
