Hello All, I was wanting to know why you have to take a course to get your fishing lic's in germany ? Is there a lot of places to fish at ? The reason I'm asking is cause my husband and son and i love to fish , My husband is thinking about taking a job in germany. we are from the US , It just sounds so different . I thopught i would ask .

There were some posts on what you had to go through to get a license :-/ but never heard the why. Hope someone jumps in with that info and  WELCOME to the forums!!!
