I'VE NOTICED THAT A FEW GUYS ALWAYS POST IN ALL "CAPS" ALL THE TIME. I HAVE THREE THEORIES AS TO WHY THIS IS:

1. THEY ARE ALWAYS ANGRY. I REMEMBER READING SOMEWHERE, SOMETIME, THAT WRITING IN ALL "CAPS" IS THE INTERNET EQUIVALENCY OF SHOUTING AT SOMEONE.

2. THEY WANT TO MAKE SURE I READ WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY. I GUESS IT'S A PERSONAL FEDISH, BUT I DO ALWAYS READ WHAT'S WRITTEN IN BIG LETTERS.

3. THEY HAVE ACCIDENTLY HIT THE "CAPS LOCK" BUTTON ON THEIR COMPUTER AND DON'T KNOW IT (KIND OF LIKE THE FOLKS I OFTEN GET BEHIND ON COUNTRY ROADS WHO RIDE FOR MILES AND MILES WITH THEIR SIGNAL LIGHTS UNKNOWINGLY BLINKING, BUT HAVE NO INTENTION OF EVER GETTING OUT OF MY WAY!!!).

MY BET IS ON THEORY #3.

YOU ALL "CAPS" GUYS KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO, SO COME ON AND FESS UP, YOU ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DRIVE WITH YOUR SIGNAL LIGHTS ON FOR MILES AND MILES WITH NO INTENTION OF EVER TURNING. ;D

hi i am eric, and i am a recovoering  all caps typer.

reason being my shift key was on the blink and rather than get frustrated i resorted to all caps.

thats all behind me now... i bought a new keyboard for my laptop  and now as you can see ive gone all lower case.

Or you are an engineer.  One particular member explained that this is why he does this, it's habit as an engineer.  understandable but man is it annoying lol(nothing personal)  I just have an automatic mindset like "this guy insists on attention..." almost desperate for a reply.

Most times as with my engineer friend, this is not the case but it's a mindset with me,  Oh well, I'm a jerk,lol.

 

    IMO  I had rather read a message with all caps than one when everything is all run together with no periods and no spaces.   Some on here don't know or care about spelling.   I don't think they know how to use a spell checker.

SORRY, BUT AT WORK, I AM STUCK IN CAPS...THE ONLY WAY FOR ME TO USE LOWER CASE LETTERS IS TO HOLD THE SHIFT KEY THE WHOLE FREAKIN TIME....THAT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN BOYS.  

NOW WHEN I AM AT HOME....I NEVER USE THE CAPS UNLESS I AM STARTING A NEW SENTENCE OR  USING THE i WORD..... ;D

OH...FORGOT...AS MY TEENAGE STEP-KIDS PUT IT...... :....YOU'LL GET OVER IT.....LOL

And the word is "grammatical." We're all guilty at times.  No offense intended!

And in my case, the correct response is That's okay, none comprehended.

Rule #4.

   Some of us just didn't know that all caps meant something other than easier reading on the eyes.
