I'll preface this by stating I'm not against hunting, i.e. deer (venison) for food, and I'm not a hunter. Last I heard, you don't eat Lion. I'm only sorry to NOT see the Lion rip them to shreds. That would have been funny.

I couldnt agree more and considering it looked like the hunters and lions were fenced in not too much sport in that at least not in my eyes. Yes it would have been funny too see the lion take him out...

Sure wished that Lion could have got revenge. I hate jerks like that and they

call themselfs HUNTERS. :-/ Sorry guys but that got under my skin.

Had the Lion ripped them up, well, part of the balance & cycle. Lions have enough to deal with without hunters who are looking for a trophy (obviously don't know the intent of the hunters involved), but, If I offended you guys in any way, I apologize, but I stand by what I said and I didn't see it offensive.

I wish the lion had had the rifle.  He undoubtedly would have been a much better shot than those yahoos.

I'm a hunter, too, but that doesn't look like "hunting" to me. I don't have a problem with someone (other than me) paying $50,000 to kill a lion on a "canned" hunt. There is no shortage of lions and I'm sure the one in the film clip was pen raised. So, it's not really "compassion" that drives my feeling about these activities, it's just that this is the kind of stuff PETA likes to highlight to make real hunters look bad. How 'bout shooting a buffalo as it grazes just outside Yellowstone Park? Maybe it needs to be done and the Park Service raises some money, but it doesn't need to be broadcast all over the internet. That ain't hunting!

I just couldn't help but respond to the fact that a lion ripping someone to shreds would have been funny to you.

I simply cannot find the humor in a person being mauled to death by a lion.

RW, you "rooting" for the lion, is cool.  I'm sure many people would agree.

But your statement did not include gleefully enjoying seeing a human being ripped to shreds by deadly cat.

Well I for one was laughing while the issue was unfolding, I beleive the FOOLS would get what was due for messen(playing) around with a beast like that. If you play with fire you will get burned so don't come crying to me about it.  

It does amaze me how others will get so bent out of shape on a so called "senseless animal kill"" they behave like thats the only horrific  monster human being out there. compassion is a good thing and when directed properly can be a miracle worker, now Like I said it amazes me sometimes

But, I don't hear that much hard ache when they find a sicko with kiddy porn  > Man they busted a hellashes sting in Russia 3 or 4 months ago and the cops said it was the worst they've seen-they actually heard these kids screaming on the videos that was taped when they was being raped, now why couldn't that recieve more compassion than 4 idiots shooting a predator in a park and just as well would've got burned and well deserve it I might add  but, to each his own right :-?

I had to relieve myself so bad I couldn't hold it.

So I went around the side of this closed gas gas station.

I had just started pithy'n when a cop drove up and threatened to lock me up!

Well my fine long legged friend.  

I failed to see the humor in that!!!!

I know I would have paid to see it happen, had it happend. Is that bad? I dont really care if it is. I think if someone is tring to kill something, it has just as much right to kill the person. If you play with fire for a dumb casue Im going to laugh when you get burned.
