OK folks, I need some favors.  Everyone has a favorite tackle shop at home.  A place where your memories come from.  The place with a sweet aroma at 5am that makes you ultra calm yet super excited all at the same time.  A place you associate with the word "Hometown".

I need stickers.  I need bumper stickers, shop stickers, manufacturer stickers, anything you can get your hands on.  Most shops have a pile of them on the counter, if you could please grab a few and stick them in an envelope for me, I would really appreciate it.

I would expect that since it is for the Cast For Kids Foundation that it is a legitimate request.

You should try to contact some tackle distributors. I'm sure they could donate a lot.

LBH, what's the cut-off date for sending you the stickers?  

I don't have a cut-off date but asap is best.   Manufacturers are great but what I'm really looking for are tackle shop stickers, the free ones that advertise shop name, number,location.  You know the ones.  ANY fishing sticker sent, will be used but those are the golden ones I really really need to make this work.

Saltwater shops too!!  All you Fla guys, there's one every block!

I happen to have a couple of stickers that I got from a local saltwater shop, I will put them in the mail tommorrow, I will also check some of the other shops around here this weekend and see what I can find.

Excellent.  Guys, I'm not asking you to go spend $3 a gallon on fuel and drive around collecting these but when you stop in your local shop this weekend, please ask if they have any stickers.  Logo's, bumper stickers, shop stickers, anything you can get.

I picked up a couple of bumper stickers today.  Hopefully will have a few more to add in the next couple of days.  I'll send ASAP but would like to give it a little time.  I'll gotta be going by a few shops while heading to Camp Rainbow in TN.  I'll stop in everyone and check!            deb

LBH, I looked up some bait and tackle shops in the yellow pages last night for San Jose. They are few and far between. I hit one at lunch today called Reed's Sport Shop but all they had were some stickers for Izorline. This looks like a line that is used for saltwater fishing but I'm not sure. I picked them up anyway, though I know the preferred sticker is for the baitshops. I have two more places picked out to hit before I return to KC. I'll hit the shops at home and then send them all to you.

Wow, Deb, you make me feel like a failure.    I hit three shops when I was in San Jose, and I've hit three here at home, but I came up with only a few items.
