That's about as bad as the guy who approached me near the boat ramp as I pulled in with my rig and asked me if I'd take a look at 3 Bass he had caught and tell him if they were legal. I said "Sure". He then proceeded to the trunk of his car and pulled out about a 25" Mudfish! Then he told me how they tore his fingers up when he lipped them! I didn't have the heart to tell him they were Bowfin, so I said... "Yeah, I think they are definitely legal size!" He told me he caught all 3 on wild shiners!  :-?

Nature's way of weeding out the stupid.

"Go on, touch it.  I think that alligator's asleep!"

One of my wife's bride's maids had lived in a big city up north until moving to Texas as a teenager.  They found them a place in the country after moving to North Texas.  One night her mom came running and screaming into the house.  She kept screaming about one of the biggest rats she had ever seen being caught in a trash can on their back porch.  I could see it easier mistaken for a rat than a cat.

"Not very friendly, must be scared. . ." that's hilarious.  Believe me, I learned reall early in life to leave a mean momma possum alone.

Think thats bad. This Brooklynite spent his first night working in PA, calling security about a large rat by the dorm; this is what I was calling about

I had a neighbor back in Louisville that found a possum in his basement.  Tony was known to enjoy a little nip once in a while and this was one of those days.  He came over to my house asking to borrow my .22.  He was going to shoot the possum.

I finally convinced him that shooting a bullet in his basement was probably not the best idea.  The image of a golf ball being hit in a bathroom came to mind.

To add to the possum stories, had one that would crawl under the house,i would leave the crawspace door cracked so my cat could go there if chased by dogs or if it was raining, after thinking how those things might chew through wiring under the house and possibly catch something on fire,i waited til it came out and plopped down to eat out of the cats food bowl on the picnic table and blame!22 shot and away it ran under the pack house and died. Now the bad part,i finally found something long enough to reach her, pulled her out to dispose of her and babies started crawling out her pouch, that made me feel sick to my stomach but it had to be done... :'( :'( :'( :-/

Found on Sunset?  In Los Angeles?  I'm not surprised they would think it's a cat....
