Anyone else want their money back from "The Happening"?

Featured Replies

I saw "The Happening" last night...

Did not live up to the M. Night movies of the past...

Pretty disappointing...

That is disappionting, I thought the previews for that movie looked pretty good and an interesting plot. I guess I'll wait to see it until it comes out on DVD and I cvan get it from netflix.

I heard it was not worth the money to go see.

I can recommend "The Strangers" if you want an old fashioned shriek flick..  The women in the crowd spent the whole movie jumping and screaming......

However, do not be surprised that they use every old trick there is for a scare tactic....

Decent concept, but the ending sucked.

No.  We don't get out to the movies much, so if they stink I don't feel as bad spending five bucks for the DVD rental.  I've seen several bad reviews on the movie and probably wouldn't have bothered anyway.  That's sad too because I've liked most of Shayamalyan's movies and I"m a fan of Mark Wahlberg.  "The Strangers" looks very creep too, so I might have to check it out.

"what a tweeesssttt"

Yeah Whalberg is awesome but the role he plays in this movie is sort of a wimpy guy... I like whalberg in the departed. He is cool as the "all american badass" sort of role

Everyone I have spoken to that has seen it says the same thing.  It sucked.  That's really too bad, I really am a big fan of his movies.

Don't most of the endings in his movies suck?  They do in my opinion.

thanks for saving me the cash.  I'll go buy some fishing stuff. 8-)

yea man the hulk i thought was well worth the money.  It was just a cool action movie not as good of a storyline but still a good movie.

Hey guys, you can't land them all.

Some will get off the hook.

Same thing in life.  Sometimes they just get off the hook and you can't put them in the boat.

But keep on casting. Sooner or later you will land that lunker.

Even in movie land....keep on casting and sooner or later you will land that lunker.

With the exception of that fat guy who is married to the ugly woman and he produces anti American pictures.  Mike something.

Yeah SHamalans films suck they always got a dumb twist.  not a good twist
