SAD NEWS RIPPIN ME UP

Hey Fellas: A great man, who taught me how to get clean from drugs and stay clean from drugs, tragically relapsed some time ago. Over pain meds, I always prayed for him to come back. He was found dead this morning, it is a huge loss and a reminder of the gratitude I have to God for my own life having been saved a day at a time. This disease of addiction is no joke and it consumes everything in its path. Please pray for his soul,

I know how you feel man It is rough, A friend of mine killed himself something along those lines, he taught me everything, from how to change oil, to how tokeep good and loyal customers at his old business.

Muddy,

So sorry for his passing.

Sometimes it is difficult to understand how these things happen but somehow there is a Master Plan that we are all players and for some reason we get stronger from these losses.

I hope the pain and sadness lift in the near future as I know your friend would want for you.

Hang in there.

This guy was not a street addict, it was he who taught me that no class is immune to addiction

He was a Catholic Priest, in every sense of the word, he specialized in care of the elderly and poor, As a young man he was in a few horrific ski accidnets and had several back operations, including the insertion of rods. He didnt steal, didnt do a lot of the things I did, but those pain meds got him again and he couldnt stop. He passed in his sleep last night.

Meds can be very very evil.  My prayers go out Muddy Man.  It's nice to see you make a positive out of a negative.

Muddy,

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend... but he truly is in a better place and won't have that monkey on his back anymore.

Glad the Army was a good thing... you hear so many bad things about how the Army is this or that its good to hear how it HELPED someone for once...

You have the combined strength of your personal commitment

and the spirit encouraged by your friend. Your saddness will pass

and fond memories will remain with you forever. Keep your head

up and continue moving forward, you are a mentor to many and

an example for all.
