Brett Favre

Featured Replies

ain't gotta clue as to what he'll do...he's been playing this drama queen question in the off season for a few years now.

personally, think he shouldda took the packers up on that 10 year, $20 million offer to not show up.

that said, love for the game is priceless.

I think he will be back.  I just hope he makes up his mind.  I'm tired of hearing this story.

I think he'll retire but I would love to see him come back. I dont really know why I just would like 2 see him again

need the option of "Go away so we never hear his name again" would not be his choice but we can hope, can't we?

Since he is going to have a problem everywhere they should let him do what Paul Newman did in Slap Shot, let him coach the team and play.

He would get along great with Al Davis and the Raiders. All they both want is t just bomb the ball deep and pray.

As much as a favre fan i am.....he should have stayed retired.

:-/

He did kinda screw the jet's season up... ;D

Kick him to the curb.

The less I hear that name the happier I am.

I didn't realize that the Jets were a lock to win the super bowl, before Favre came along.   ::)

Whether you like him or not the truth of the matter is that he took a sub par team to the playoffs and then had a tough day.  Too many picks?  Yes, but where was the pass block and open receivers?

There is MORE than enough blame to go around...  anyone blaming Favre alone on this is just a hater.

The off season drama is another story altogether.

Hey Fletch,

The Jets didn't make the playoffs this year. His sub-par game on the last day of the regular season was a big reason for that.

I'd like to see him keep playing (I hate the Jets).

;)

Maybe the Yankees will make him an offer. No matter he is a football player they like the big name guys

Sorry about that...  having a new baby in the house will certainly make you miss a week here and there!   ;D

I still think they were a MUCH better team with him!

I may be in the minority, but I've never like Favre. He's very wreckless with the ball. For all of those prayers he's completed, it took a great receiver to come up with the catch.

I'd like to see him retire...and stay that way.

Wow!

Exactly how did Brett Favre "hurt" the Airplanes?

The dead don't feel pain.

Half a season of competitive football put them

way ahead of their performance in recent years.

8-)

My thoughts exactly.  He keeps saying he's going to retire, but then PSYCHE!  I'm back!

Either stay or go.

No Brett hater here.  He gave the Packers a few years of exciting football.  Sometimes awesome victories, and sometimes miserable loses.  But always exciting one way or the other.  He earned his seat in Packer and NFL history.  I'm sure his decision to retire was as gut wrenching as it comes, but once it was made, maybe he should have just sucked it up and dealt with it.  This is just an opinion, but I think he gave the Jets a good year, but in the end they got what we sometimes got.  A crap shoot.  I don't think his career is coming to a close the way he would like it, but I wish the man the best of luck.

There's NO denying his Ironman status or his love of the game.

But it's time to go while he still has a tiny shread of dignity.....He's got nothing to prove to anyone.

He will be franchised by the Pats.

Jeeez i cant believe all the haters!

IM a cheesehead for life no dought! But Farve is and will always be a packer. If anything i think the jets brought him down more than he brought them down.

I think he will be back for one more year, just to prove to all whats what.

I wish he would have just stuck with the packers tho, i dont like how he went to the jets.

Great receiver?  What are you smokin'?  Are you referring to Terry Mickens or Billy Shroeder?  Perhaps you meant Corey Bradford, no wait, I meant Robert Ferguson.

I was only stating that the miracle bombs he's tossed up throughout his career weren't successful only because he threw them. Someone had to catch the ball. I wasn't speaking specifically about this season.
