I made it back home. I got power and cable but many people still don't. It's real spotty for those who have and those who don't. I am exhausted to say the least. Now I got to get to work and start fixing these houses that have been damaged. Kind of a bitter sweet i guess.

This is Day 8 without power .... the novelty has worn off of this mess !!!!  >:(

Wimps,...buy a generator, we deal with this stuff all the time. lol just kidding

Glad all is well, hope everything gets back to normal soon :)

The last I heard, some of the closest generators were in marion ohio and going for about 1200 for a small one.  The closest kerosene heater was nashville tn.  We got it kinda bad here in Richmond KY as well... last tuesday I had 1 1/2' of ice on my car and took me 45 minutes to get 1 mile to work... got power now but had to sleep at the hospital a few nights....we had over 12,000 peope without electric on Wednesday.
