I can get two 1/2 lb cheesy double beef burritos for 89 cents each and here we get a free student drink. So our whole meal costs less than two dollars and you get stuffed.

Perhaps the acid reflux was a result of eating processed junk food every day and the ensuing weight gain.

Actully i have Acid reflux disease. Had it since i was about 10 years old. I then took a medicine called prevacid for 6 years. An not till just last year i got off of it. It seems i got where i had to slowly get off the medicine becase i became tolerate for it. An i needed it or my heart burn wouldnt go away.

But now im completely off it and everything eles and it doesnt bother me at ALL anymore.

You think your stomach wasnt right? When i was younger i couldnt hardly eat cause my throat was swollen from the acid reflux. Not to mention the acidy burning vomit burps i would get.  

Also the heart burn was ridiculus.

Yes, it is funny how they can make something that smells and tastes so good, but the after-effects are horrible.  I always have stomach trouble after eating Taco Bell (besides the Taquerias it's the only fast Mexican food we have within 45 minutes).  Even though I swear I will never go back, I seem to be lured in there sometime again.  It's kind of like when your parents spanked you with a belt.  In the midst of it, I'd swear up and down (as they tanned my hide) "I'll-never (sob)- do (sniff) -it (wale)- again (sob)!".  After the pain wears off and a week later, mom is whipping you again for the same thing.

Give me Taco Bueno any day!!

I had GERD, and it ultimately took an anti biotic to beat the ulcer in my throat.  I know the pain and anguish CatfishKing speaks of.  Its a terrible illness.

I'll take 3 chicken chalupas and 3 soft tacos.

You can't beat Taco Bell, I know theres no telling how it's made, but I try not to think about that. I eat there every Friday afternoon, except today, placed an order at a local neighborhood joint, called Dominos.

I remember back in 1989, we were opening a new store, so we had a lot of stuff coming from different freight companies (18-wheelers).

I was unloading a couple pallets and saw these 55-gallon blue plastic drums with DANGER/FLASHPOINT (don't remember 'temp) decals on the outside and asked the driver what the stuff was.

His reply: FOOD FILLER...going to one of those fast food joints; they get them all the time.

My thoughts are STILL: what the heck's in there that has a FLASHPOINT...!!..???

Eat at Taco Casa in Tuscaloosa, Alabama..you never go to Taco Bell again!

We keep enough junk food in the house for there to be something that will 'hit the spot.' Occassionally I'm sent out to 'forage' for Sonic/DQ ice cream though. Gotta take the good with the bad in a house with three ladies.

Which flavor Blizzard man? I usually stick with the Oreo or Reese P/Butter. I tried M&M once and nearly broke a tooth on them frozen candies.
