Chinese buffets

Why do I continue to torture myself at these places?  Wife and I went out this evening with Tom and his wife.  Of course, I ate way too much.

What happened to the days when I could close one of those places down?

No, but our waitress didn't speak a lick of English.

Hehe.  I hate calling in lunch at China Garden for that reason.  Sometimes its fine, but other times, you never know if they understand what you are saying or not.  But, for $4.25 lunch, I'll deal with it.

buffets and me spell disaster!!!!!!!

its always bad news....

my problem lately has been Sonny's......

every time i go, i tell myself..... dont get the all you can eat, you always feel like crap afterwards....

but, everytime i see the menu....

im like, why would i get the dinner portion.... when the all u can eat is only like 1.50 more????

never fails.

all u can eat sliced pork, with garlic bread, fries, and slaw......

reorder all of them usually about 3 to 4 times........

once on a total binge,

i threw the flag in at 5 reorders, and thats of meat and all sides every time.....

i love the eating part,

but the pregnant belly on the couch after sucks somthin' serious!!!!!!

Could have been Christmas Dinner, ra la la.

She was cute as a button, so that made up for it.

You don't even want to see the debauchery that occurs when I walk into the "restaurant" (I used that term very lightly).

I kill so much General Tso's that you would think I am in the military...

I haven't found a good Chinese buffet around me but I haven't been lookin' either. After 40 those pounds just don't come off easy.

Never have eating competitions at buffets, you'll regret it later that night.

I am banned from the local one here. I didn't see the sign that said 20 plate maximum and I had 21.

:-[ What can i say?  ;D

China Star in Lubbock, TX is one of my worst vices.  Everytime I get back there I'm guaranteed indigestion due to my overindulgence.  Jalapeno Chicken, General Tso's and about 112 cheese wontons make for a long night.

Would I be safe in assuming that many of you gluttons are at least 20# overweight and having trouble seeing or touching your toes? ;D

20 would be nice.  Try 30-40, but I can see my toes.

I have had my toes for 29 years, I know what they look like.   ;)

Request "China Night" at the Senior Center.  I am sure they will jump all over it.   ;D

We used to go to the one in Killeen when I was in the army, I miss it alot. We had a guy that begged to go, and every time, all he would eat is pizza! ;D
