Current active duty US Army.  April 5th will be 8yrs. and I've been to Iraq 3 times.

Just an old Gunnersmate here.   

Active duty Airforce 3 yrs so far. civil engineer.

I'm an LPN in the Army Reserve, Sunday will be 7 years exactly.  I've been to Iraq once.

4 years navy, Crash and Smash

Spent 6 years in the us army as a fister seen alot done alot now i enjoy myself lol....get some!!!

USAF 1972-1975.

I've been active Army for 13 years. I've spent 2 1/2 years in Iraq.

Active duty Air Force.  12 years so far.

US Navy 1976-1981. MR1 Submarine Tender Duty.

You beat me to it!  I was just going to post similarly.  I was kicked to the curb by the Marines over 20 years ago - bad feet, tried to hide it, but they were only really taking the best candidates.  It probably worked out for the best.  I have a great many friends that are serving, or served.  To them, a hearty thank you.

If anyone is ever interested in a great cause, Google "Heroes on the Water."  A great cause, these guys sacrifices are very compelling.

Don't want to steal the thread but any active service man or woman will always get a free beer and a burger in my bar.....

I have the utmost respect for you ALL...

J you are right, that is a great organization and I have donated my boat to a few events and will continue to do so....   

I'm Active Duty Air Force serving a 6 month tour in the middle east, will return home in August. 9 years in. Miss the U.S. very much.
