Am I the only youth still on here?

Featured Replies

I'm fishin all year, every month, every week, every day, every hour, every minute, every second haha

I'd like to be but between work and the wife I can only manage 2 days a week if I'm lucky and it won't be full days either. Most lakes around here are starting to freeze but I'm lucky enough to live less than a hour away from one powerplant lake and a little over an hour away from another. One of them has good largemouth and wipers, the other has good largemouth, smallies, crappie, and white bass so I've always got something I could be fishing for.

What the heck is a wiper???

Dozer a wiper is a white bass/striped bass hybrid.

Bassboy you're not the only youngster on here, but by volume you're a very high percentage. :-*

Thanks Mac, never heard them called that before. Who gave 'em that name, Larry the cable guy?

Dozer I think it's a southern thing. :-/

No you are not the only youth on here.  I check this site everyday, just don't post nearly as much as I used too.

Like a lot of fish the striped bass/white bass hybrid has several different names. Around here we call them wipers but some call them hybrids or hybrid striped bass. Whatever you want to call them, they're a blast to catch! I don't know if it's a southern thing but I wouldn't consider Kansas City to be very "southern".

The younger generation comes and goes but they will return in the spring asking for advice.

Big Dave, Senko_77, Triton, Basspro48 and others will be back.

Winter is the time to inventory, file, read, watch, study and get everything ready for spring so many guys will not be active on the site. :)

i never left ;)

shutup you only share his Palin fetish :P :

I like Palin as a person. I also think she's kinda pretty in a wierd way.

However I dont like her in anything that involves government.

I also think she's hot.  She seems like she would be fun to hang out with and do outdoor things with.

I feel like I've let down my fellow members of Team Pampers.  I haven't been on BR nearly as much as I used to be.
