Reseeding hair line or bald guy ?

Featured Replies

Is it a judgement call or is there an offical line of demarcation ?

How far back over the top of my head does my "reseeding hairline" have to be before I'm offically a Bald Guy ?

Is it once my fore head becomes a five-head ?

It's pretty close now.

:D

I'm not sure. All I know is mine never grew back the same after they shaved my head in boot camp. I'm on my way to bald but it's not bad yet.

Oh that's easy..When there's more hair on your butt than your head you are officially bald.  ;D ;D ;D I'm not there quite yet but it won't be long >:(

my hair line is cutting back on the sides.... ::)

Yeah I know some guys according to that who would have been bald with a full head of hair...

Probably one of the best tattoos I've ever seen.

baldness is when your exposed scalp looks like a Kippah

The sign for me was when I washed my hair in the shower one summer and the water stung my head because of a sun burn.  :'(

Time for hair club for men...

Some turns gray and some turns loose. I stopped wondering if I was bald at about 19 years of age. LOL

I've always said it's what's inside a man's head rather than what's on top of it that matters.

Of course these are words from a man with a receding hairline.

Personally, I'll probably look like Riff-Raff from Rocky Horror before I shave my head.

I'm also getting creative with my choice of hats.

The correct answer to your question is whatever you feel comfortable with or whatever your woman likes best.

I am also folically challenged.  Probably the reason one of my clients bought me this hat for my birthday many years ago.  Still have, and still wear it!

Dont think of it as losing hair,... think of it as gaining forehead !!! ;D ;D

Well, I'm 46. Up until age 18 or so, I could reach around, under either arm, and grab the end of my hair behind my back... maybe about 6" over my belt.

But at about 25 it started thinning way out. Around then, I cut it short, and pretty much always covered it with a hat anyway. Even people who knew me well, would trip when I'd take my hat off.... so I hardly ever took my hat off.

Then, about 4 months ago, I started shaving my head. It only felt weird, or awkward, for a week or two, but after I noticed that nobody was paying any attention to my bald head, it felt totally comfortable.

Now, I only wear a hat when I have too (at my work, or if it's too cold to not wear one).

I just can't wait for Summer, so I can get a good tan on my head :)

Don't know about your area of the country, but around here, bald is so popular, you will see lots of young kids (18 to 25) who are bald.... and obviously don't have to be.

PS, Maybe loud stereos caused me to lose my hairing ;)

beard come over.

I Agree with fish, a shaved head takes away the receding hair line look.

I simply judge against myself. If you have the same amount of hair as I do, its a receeding hairline. If less, you're bald. Therefore, I will never be bald  :D

My hair is thining, all I know is that when it gets to bad I'm shaving my head.  I'll never have that Roman Wreath look.

I hear you all - This was more of a joke than anything else.

I've been switching back and forth between a high and tight and a shaved head for several years. After the Kojack look for the summer, this winter I chose to let it grow out (mostly to keep my head warm). I knew there would be areas of sparse coverage but secretly I was hoping that there might be a few new seedling sprouting up. Well - not so much, actually quite a bit less. But what did come in kept my nugget from freezing solid and if'n it ever thaws out up here, I'll be a happy skin head once again.

:D

Hey A-Jay {how funny is this... their is a HairClub.com info-mercial on TV behind me :)}

Your right about a bald head getting cold in cold weather, but no amount of hair will keep your head as warm as one of those fur-lined bomber hats I posted about, a while back. I'm going to get 1 or 2 nicer ones next Winter

Anyway, I wish I could make what hair on my head, I do have, stop growing ! 1) It's a PITA to have to shave, and 2) I hate the shadow that says, "Yes" I'd be bald on top, with a receding hairline anyway.....
