Alright, ill start from day one. I was walleye fishing, and i wasnt having any luck. I decided to hit up one last spot under a bridge on my way back. Within a few minutes i was awarded with a prime eating walleye, 17"

Day 2, I take my buddy with me this time. Only he hooks into something, a decent 23.5" walleye, around 5 lbs. He flips out and wants it mounted. I thought he was crazy, since its only 5 lbs. Anyways, i managed a little walleye, 14" and under keeper size.

Now day 3 was my day. I decided to throw a little bit of everything i had in my box. Up to this point, all of our fish were on 4 and 5" grubs. I went through a bunch of stuff and came up with nothing. I decided to move. We went to the other side of the bridge, downstream. First cast with a silver/black huskey jerk, taptap, set the hook! I got a decent fish on my line, wait a minute, a BIG fish!! Too bad it didnt fight harder, but it was fun anyways. This is double my last pb walleye, which was 5 lbs. This one weighed in at 10 lbs. and at 29"

Great eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME!! Those are some beauties.

Those are some very nice looking walleyes great work. :) Have you been catching all your fish in the current or around bridge pilings or in the backwater areas?

rocknfish do you have any videos? You gotta post some videos, and i enjoy reading your commentaries. Your catching some great looking fish. Awesome!!

1st the steelheads ,now the walleyes

dude ur on roll!!!!!!

whats next?????

a slight but very noticeble current

That current probably deserves more respect.  Current can be decieving.  What looks like a slow mover can take the feet right out from under you.  Careful, always give current 3x the respect you think it warrants.

Great walleyes man!!  I've never caught one,...too ugly for my sexy boat...lol

(plus we don't have any in RI!)

Great job, nice report.

That fish would even make Al Lindner proud! ;D

lol ;D ;D ;D ;D

I had to chuckle a little when you mentioned the ole black/silver husky jerk. When I put the waders on in the spring that is my go to bait for Missouri River walleyes up north. The cranks always catch the bigger fish when it comes to river walleyes. Nice Fish!!!!! ;) You mounting that fish?

Great catch!!! I would like to go fishing for some walleye some day I havent ever cought one. I hear they are good eating.

boondocks- The thing is, i know people who have caught 12 lb walleyes in the river, and as a matter of fact, sombody caught an 11 the same day i caught my 10. So im going to keep it in the freezer for a little while just to be sure i dont hook into a bigger while. A big walleye would be awesome on the wall

Beautiful fish! I've never caught one (or eaten one for that matter). I gotta get up north this year.
