Panther Martin, gold blade, black with chartreuse spots.

I've had action, at least from brown trout, on a variety of lures, such as spinners, grubs on jigheads and crankbaits, such as Floating Rapalas.

Take some small floats and flys. And smaller tubes 1.5 - 2' whites browns and greens.

Roostertails, brown body with a white belly and a gold blade, 1/32 or 1/24 oz.  Also, rapalas of varying sizes and other minnow/jerkbaits.

fourbizz- i will be in norwood which is about 30 miles or so west of telluride

thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

ive read about some of the lakes in the area and they mention that the trout feed heavily on crayfish. have you heard of anyone using some kind of jig imitating a crayfish?

Never fished that area.

Small tube jigs in dark colors can work. I liked them more for river fishing though.

Also there are some crawfish pattern flies that are very realistic and throwable on UL gear.

Ditto to what he said about the tube jigs and the realistic flies.  There's alot of fly shops out there with crawdad flies, or, you can use  plastic craw imitations or wooly buggers or even the Rebel craw cranks.

Only caught one trout in my life and it was while I was bass fishing. Got him on a Johnson Beetle Spin. The thing had to have been two lbs, but I didn't have a trout stamp. I couldn't get that thing back in the water fast enough !!

pinns minnow

trout magnets

sorry that is all that i can think of all i do is fly fish anymore

Everything mentioned is in my trout vest. The one add would be Little Cleos just a great casting spoon.
