I went fishing yesterday with 2 members of this forum. (CyBasser and Dmitri)

Both guys wanted 2 explore new areas for the competition they ll take part  so the whole fishing trip was new experience for me.

I have 2 tell u fishing was tough (cold front ,lots of raining).

I got lucky and managed 2 catch the limit with the biggest fish of the day at 5.86 lbs.

I wont be fishing much the next couple of months as the hunting season is on here.

Vyron is indeed on a roll! He can actually catch big bass even when their mouth is tied shut (as the case was yesterday)! It was worth getting your finger cut buddy, right ;D???

And hey, thanks to all for your nice comments on the photography ! Despite the rush since the bass would be released, the photos came out better than I thought they would in those lighting conditions - good to know how to play with the camera's manual settings....

That is a bummer you guys are stuck on shore. People here complain about our government! hmmph! at least we get to use boats. Shore isn't so bad, my three biggest fish came from shore.

Yep!!! Backback, fishing jacket, one or two rods on hand, and down the shores we go. And knowing the varied structures that lie below the water only makes us green at the idea of not being able to use a boat....

If so, forget about inviting ME down,...get a boat and ESPN will be down soon enough!!

We'll get a boat - we are trying to persuade the goverment to allow limited - restricted boat usage (probably no outboards for water quality control - just small boats with electric motors or even paddles or canoes), which would be under strict control. But it's quite hard, mainly due to the problems of illegal fishing we have here. In any case, if we get a boat, ESPN is welcome too, but YOU were invited first! And even if we don't get a boat, bass fishing on Cyprus still rocks You are more than welcome, as of course are all forum members. Maybe you guys should consider an "air trip" sometime soon :!
