Do you have a favorite soft plastic for carolina rigging in the fall?

flukes flukes and flukes......the bass are eatin up shad this time of year and the fluke really imitates a dying shad

try the smokin shad color

Here in Texas, gonna have to go with the Rage Craw, Space Monkey or 7" Annie with tails dipped in JJ's chartreuse. Small, active and attractive to the fish....

Not trying to hijack this but does the carolina rig work well for you in the fall? I find that the fish come shallow so spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, cranks and swimjigs are about alll I use.

Munkin, your missing out on some BIG fish if all your doing is fishing shallow.  Sure, there are some big fish that move up, but there are big girls that stay deep all year other than to spawn.  Continue fishing your summer big fish spots, and I think you'll be surprised.

Mann's jelly worm 12"

Zoom Trick worm in the baitfish / shad pattern. French fry type baits are good too. Around rocks a DT Hula Grub or a Rage Tail Craw in

watermelon or green pumpkin.
