This one was a bedfish, she went 6-3.

This picture is pretty much the polar opposite of the Avid shady picture. I think I was about 4 feet from the sun, LOL

This one went 6-11 post spawn. First thing in the morning I was throwing a 10 inch bait and she followed it to the boat but didn't eat. I didn't get a real good look at her and thought she was bigger. When the weather broke I changed baits and told my dad that I was gonna go back and get her. 1st cast . When she came up I thought she was bigger because of her mouth. It was fun, she full on ATE IT!

That first fish is cool looking.  You normally don't see bigger fish with such a pronounced black markings.

You CA guys make me feel ashamed to post about my tiny 1 lb. river fish.

I sometimes risk life and limb to chase after little river smallies. Its a ton of fun! The little buggers are freakin TOUGH sometimes! Come to think of it, its almost time to go do that again.

Be proud of your catch, enjoy your trip, post some pictures. We're all fishin' and its ALL good!
