Nice catch!

I guess when you say "lack of fishing waters around Nashville" you mean easily accessable ponds. For those unfamiliar with the region, if we were addressing lakes and rivers, that would be a different story. The  Nashville region offers some of the best multi-species fishing in the country.

nice work son,

Always glad to hear about a new pb.

Now that you have a nice one "in the bag" so to speak, the others should be easier for you

to release right at the lake.

Catch Photo Release.  It is the next step you want to aspire to as you evolve as a sportsman.

Don't get me wrong.  As a kid you need to get the accolades from friends and family by showinf off your catch.  It's part of the fun.

Just keep in mind that there is a mature satisfaction is releasing a fish, especially a biggun.  You'll feel good about yourself.

Trust me on this one.

good luck and have fun.

o i reseased him, i never keep bass, i always like to think that i will catch them again when they are bigger. the reason were in the parking lot is because my friend had to go back and get his camera. Roadwarrior, i dont have a boat and percy priest is to far away, i have been before but the shores seem very fished. the harpeth and little harpeth i have fished but there is no large fish in it. and the cumberland is hard to fish without a boa. :'( if you know any other waters i can fish, please tell me haha.
