twin 6 pounders

Featured Replies

a couple days ago I posted catching 3 five pounders on as many casts. Today Me and a buddy went to a lake where I have caught some hawgs and we pulled 2 sixes at the same time. His a 6.2 and his largest ever and my fish was right at 6.0 . Its the first time I have had two 6+ lbers in my boat at the same time. Here in vermont we dont pull to many bass like that. Im at work now but I will put a pic later.

A 6 lber is a fine Bass anywhere but particularly good way up 'nawth'  WTG John!!!

A day you'll never forget I'm sure!! AWESOME!!

Where are you fishing?  My PB for yrs was from Lake Bomoseen (8.9lbs) ( I am a native R.I.'er)

I used to live in Mendon (88-90) when I skied for US Freestyle and we would shoot to Bomossen on the weekends in the summer.  One of our trainers kept a boat there.

Vermont has a closed season for Bass to protect them during the spawn (when mine was caught-full of egg)

This report is pure proof of the success of such a program.  These guys are a good 3-4 hrs NORTH of me.  We have not had 2  sixes in the boat in the same week nevermind the same day.  I wish RI would learn from Vermont's fine example.

Way to go guys.

Where are the pictures that you stated you would post?  I would like to see them.
