SteveP and I went to the legendary Stickmarsh today.  It was a perfect December day.

Air temps in the mid 70's and a nice breeze.

Steve really knows this lake.  He actually knows it so well that by 10 o'clock he had caught 10 bass to my 2.   :-*

Kinda reminded of my first five trips here with a former member of the forum.   :

Steve actually was gracious enough to lead with my end of the boat, so I had first crack at the new water for much of the day.

Anyway.

Every dog has his day, as the saying goes, and today was Avids.

NEW PB BAYBYYYYYYYYYYYYY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

7 lbs. 10 oz.  only beat my former best by 2 ounces but hey, it's still bigger.

This was not the only chunk brought to the boat.

We landed 30 fish in a five hour trip for the two of us.

the 7-10, a 6, a 4.75 and several others came in around 4.

A great, and memorable day.

Lotsa laughs.......I mean laughs.

Avid taught SteveP the defensive tactic of hanging your rod tips over the end of the boat when your buddy is fighting a biggun.  It didn't work, so I had to try it again.

I also gave SteveP a lesson on how NOT to ties knots.  

It was ok though. It was his lure.....................................

Sweet. That does look like a big 7 pounder to me too. Not that I have seen a lot of bass that size.

Wow avid nice job on such a great day and the new pb. Also great job with the pictures... you actually used a camera . I wish I had a day like that while bass fishing.

Ho-Hum!!!! Yawn!!!! I do that in my sleep. Of course that's what I have to do now because there is a freakn inch of ice on everything and about 20 outside. That's how things are up here : :-[ :'(
