My fishing buddy caught one that size last week.  When he set the hook it sailed all the way over the boat.

Heck mine are a lot smaller but I use 14lb test!!LOL........

He's going for the line class record.  But he needs to switch to 80 lb braid if he plans on bringin in the monsters consistently.

Got a decent sunfish in the boat on a swimmin senko saturday, it was on 50 lb Power Pro braid.  I watched it come up and bite the tail and I just reeled it in steady and it wouldn't let go till it hit the boat floor.  First fish in new jon boat and didn't even get to set the hook.
