My 9 year old did it again!!! This is unbelievable:

Featured Replies

A few days ago I was excited to post about a trip my son and I had ahead of a cold front on grandpa's pond. It was one of those days when the bite was on. He nailed (3) nice ones including a 3 lber.

We returned yesterday afternoon, but found high pressure, heat, lots of sun and not many bass.

However my 9 year old caught this beauty (20" approx. 5 lbs) from the dock on a soft plastic frog. He caught another 1 lber, the only two fish we saw the whole day.

I said forget baseball, you may have a career on the pro bass circuit!

Awsome Catch... Def. atleast 5lbs but looks a bit bigger... I remember when i was his age and bass fishing but i never caught a bass that big til i was about 14. Congrats to him. And congrats to you, alot of dads now-a-days never take there kids fishing.. My dad never took me i ended up taking him when i turned 16 and got my licence. So we kind of reversed it... Haha.

Whats your guess? It measured at 20" we thougth 5 lbs, but many folks have said that it looks larger. Any thoughts?

Around 5 lbs would be a good guess.

You and me both brother! Its ironic torture to watch your 9 year old pull those in. You obviously want to see him have loads of fun, but wouldnt it be nice.......

Great fish. Tell him he can't keep doing that if he wants to continue fishing  ;)

That is an awesome fish!  Wish I was catching stuff like that when I was 9.  Tell him to keep it up!
