Disturbing thoughts

Featured Replies

I was fishing this morning from a pier. This guy shows up maybe 30 feet from the pier i was fishing I didn't really think to much about it. During this time i was constantly catching fish nothing to brag about but maybe 1 to 2 pounders. the guy comes in a little closer, he wasn't catching a thing, I was still catching them. Then the guy calls me the N word  :o and speeds off purposely trying to disturb the fish. Whats up with that?

Some peoples' lack of class amazes me.  Most fishermen are great people but some never cease to amaze me dude...Always gotta be one I guess...

I applaud this piece of human pond scum for not hiding behind "political correctedness" so you, and the anyone that knows him realizes he's a racist ***** that can't catch fish.

Just another dirt bag, I wouldn't dwell on it too much.

Like road rage, we all hope the guy dies a slow, painful

death and move on...

>:(

i hate that for ya man.  but always consider it a compliment when your fishing is so good it ticks people off. ;D  keep catchin' 'em and don't worry about that idiot.

Dinosaur. His kind are going extinct. Must've been some of his last dying throes. Sorry you had to be there to hear 'em.

Hey! Welcome to BassResource. Pop in another thread to introduce yourself, if you like: Where you fish, how you like to fish, ...

Dude, people like that are an afterthough. If you let it bother you then you feed the ignorance. Keep outfishing em, and let karma take care of the rest!

Let him go and let it go. Just think, it is his loss.

Had he been a normal courteous type of person he could have learned from you and thus gained from that very experience. Instead, he lost that opportunity and now because of his beligerant response, he will ultimately pay for it again.

Heaping coals on the fire that is burning him up inside.....God help him.

God help him.

Or better yet, don't.

One of my regular fishing buddies from back east wore a set of Jamaican dread-locks, and as we traveled around to fish, every once in a while he'd have some sort of racist encounter. And sometimes it really got to him. He'd put up his hood, and get real quiet. He'd look like he just walked in off a gangsta' movie set -such a contrast to his normally affable self.

He was someone who moved in both worlds really well. He could hang with the brutha's, and talk trout stream entomology with the experts with equal ease. Those racist encounters were reminders of how separate he could be from parts of society. He was young at the time, 16, and just wanted to fit it.

Some times, like when others got seated at a restaurant before us, even though we arrived first, we were just left to wonder, Was it an oversight? Or...something else. Not knowing where you stood was difficult. In new turf, the feeling seemed almost relentless. He handled himself really well. Sure opened my eyes though.

So, I can't suggest you just forget about it. I have no suggestions. It just sucks.

As long as man inhabits the earth , this will happen. Protect yourself but never go down to their level.

Jealously....that's all that was..... ;D

Sorry to hear you got treated this way.  Unfortunately there will always be people that just don't understand how to respect their fellow man, what a shame.  Maybe one day the good lord will show him the error of his ways.

As someone said "It takes all kinds". Unfortunately we all run into "those " kind from time to time.

What the boob didn't know was he probally improved the fishing by stirring up more food in the area.
