I didn't get any measurements but I could tell that it was over 3 lbs. This is only the 2nd bass I've caught so I'm psyched for this year. :) :) :)

4-5 lbs. Nice work!

Who cares its a healthy nice size bass. Great job

It is very difficult to guess the weight due to the angle of the picture, but comparing its mouth to your hand, I would say 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 lbs. Nice fish!

Nice fish.

2 - 3 lbs

8-)

I would have to say 3.5 to 4, very nice fish.  I have one question though, were you working on your garden when you caught it?  (nice gloves) LOL

Nice fish! Good way to start the year  ;)

Right about 4 lbs. Long and healthy, but not real fat.Nice fish! I know all about self taken pictures when no one else is around ;)

-If your pressed about the size then take a piece of fishing line next time and measure the length and girth.

length x length x girth divided by 1200 =approx weight.

There is also a fish weight calculator under the "tacklebox" header on top of this page.

Good luck.

bout 4#.......nice fish

I measure them with measurement of my foot, gives me apx length, then look it up on a chart. gives ya an idea.

or

put a mark with nail polish or masking tape so it can be removed on your rod 14-16-18-20 up from the butt.

now you have the length.
